I started this project years ago while I was experimenting more with concept art and trying to expand my skills beyond just digital sculpture. Like many other personal projects... this one ended up shelved and wasn't touched for years.

Eventually I went back to it, but this time I decided to write a little story first, which then became an experiment on how to write a novel with some ideas I had put down on paper around the same time I started this painting. One of the goals was to come up with a universe from where I could draw new ideas in order to create some artwork and combine the whole thing together.

A few months ago I put the writing aside to give it some time to breath before returning to it and decided to repaint this piece and start doing more explorations on what this universe could look like. Hopefully this will be a project I'll stick to and bring to completion.
